Thus far the house has been spared anything more severe than the hanging of drapery, but I keep looking at that folding table in the kitchen and wanting to build a proper island in its place, with cupboards and everything. If I had the money, I'd so be renovating this place. New floors, an island, some paint, someone else to do it...
