I JUST solidified with my family that we would be attending their second night of Passover, Thursday night. They seemed puzzled that that would be somehow better for us, but agreed that it was ok. This came after a larger family meltdown that freed me up Wednesday night. If the decision to move this shindig to Thursday had been made 2 days ago it would have been no problem at all. Such is life. What a fvcked up rollercoaster this has been. All I wanted to do was experience something on a weeknight, which turned out to be one of the biggest Jewish holidays. Sometimes I think these sorts of things are proof that the vengeful God of my ancestors does exist, and he is pissed at me. Have fun at the art walk. Maybe one day I'll get to do that too.  |
