We ended up getting to GG Park after all. After lunch, Dad was telling me there "used to" be a windmill just over so, and when we got around the corner it was not only there but restored and landscaped, and comprises the far end of the park.

So BJ and I are looking at houses together this weekend in the Valley (to rent, not to buy, alas... we want to get a place with a yard for a dog, but we don't have the dough for a down payment.. perhaps next year). Yes yes cheese-man would be moving as well. Couldn't give up my favorite roommate.
It's definitely strange though. Nesting, I mean. I seriously feel like a lesbian.
