So far so good on the application. They emailed me today saying I'd been selected to move forward and had me answer a few more questions including when they can call me for a phone interview. Probably doesn't mean much at this early stage, but hey, progress is progress!

Jive Aces are playing at Atomic Ballroom tonight. There was no way I could go but I'll see them on Saturday night anyway. But I went to my Balboa classes there earlier in the evening and they were just finishing up a sound check. They performed two songs (an original and "Beyond the Sea") for an audience of maybe a dozen or so of us in the building. It was a nice preview of Saturday night.
