now for the less glib update.
CP did an amazing job through 3+ hours of Petosin-aided contractions. She was having contractions without it but hadn't begun to dilate. Since the water broke it's important to get the baby out as risk of infection increases. So in went the petosin. with her starting it at so early, she braved the pain as long ad she could, but that's just too long for the more intense contractions the drug causes. So she got the epi..and was immediately glad she did.  about an hour ago she was at 8cm. So now she's taking a MUCH earned map, waiting to be awakened by the "urge to push". Apparently we're having a baby.
