I'd fire her. I'd fire her if she refused to drive the bus because she disapproved of Gap's textile sourcing. Like I'd fire her if she refused to drive because of the bus ads common here in San Francisco telling us how wonderful and benign Islam is. Like I'd fire her if she refused because the bus was sporting a Yes on 8 ad or a No on 8 ad.

I'd support her if the ad said "by driving this bus, the driver is endorsing this and any product or message it conveys." Otherwise, she can go advocate on her own time and now she'll have plenty of it.

I might admire her for her willingness to stand up for her beliefs, but I'd admire her while showing her to the door.
