Here's a small part of the first 100 words. I'm alredy behind.

Chapter One
There was a breeze that blew across the plains that had a slight chill to it which signaled that winter was near. From his vantage point on a small rise, the Saint could feel the breeze blow across his scarred face and through his long brown mass of hair. He sensed the wheat stalks move around him and imagined the waves the winds make across the endless valley of gold.

He didn’t see anything because he was blind - recently blinded and not by any means other than by that of his own hand.
