I haven't bought much from Amazon and what I have doesn't seem to fit into their "you bought this so you might like this" program. I bought a boxed set of Wagner's Ring cycle and almost immediately got an email suggesting I might like a box set of the same thing by another orchestra/conductor. I guess you can't have too many different versions of 20+ hours of German opera.

I also ordered a set of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. (I know, I know, I shouldn't waste my time on this trashy light reading.) That was a while ago. Now suddenly I'm getting emails about books by Homer that I might like. I'm not sure who Amazon thinks Homer is. They don't seem to be too clear on the concept that the guy wrote just the two books and he's been dead for a couple of thousand years.

(What's really annoying is that I ordered the books because I couldn't find the copies I thought I owned. Of course those copies turned up as soon as I received the new books from Amazon.)

Have you ever heard Anna Russell's hilarious examination of Wagner's ring cycle? Some thoughtful soul has put it on YouTube, in several parts. This is the audio version. There is also a video version taped years later, which you can also find, but which isn't quite as crisp and funny.

Edited To add - Well, part 4 is apparently nowhere to be found, so you might as well go with the video version instead.

Census test: See if you can tell which number in a sequence is not small-to-large; alphabetize a list of names; put numbers into a table and pick the answer that has the right sequence; count how many houses on a map are in a particular block; a work-situation thing; some math.

Nothing that I found terribly difficult though some of them can be a little confusing if you don't read it very closely. You can look at the sample test online at the census site.

I liked the Letterman commercial. Didn't watch the Super Bowl but got caught up on the commercials just now.
The Betty White Snickers commercial was my favorite, I think.
