It was really bizarre. We had just driven up Mt. Pinos (get it? Valentine's Day at Mt. Penis? Oh, I slay me.) to play in the snow, and once we were done with that we decided to keep exploring. We drove to Bakersfield because we heard it sucks, and as we were descending into the valley there was this really ominous dark haze that almost completely blocked out the sun. It was very creepy, so we didn't stick around - even though there was a Sonic. We headed east on the 58 and ended up at Red Rock State Park for sunset, which was kind of awesome.

Ever have one of those days where you get the sense that you shouldn't say much all day? Like if you did it would be verbal diarrhea and nothing more? Or if you did express how you were really feeling it would be like sprinting downhill, being unable to stop and spewing dumb, numb sh!t? Today's that day for me. I just went off on a tirade about something minor and felt like an ass after doing it. (The subject was 'Divas in the Theatre'.)
