Curmudgeon time.
It may be cool but I like them mute. The only thing that appeals to me less than interacting with characters is talking to them. Though it would have made things easier at Disneyland Paris when Geppetto for some reason got all excited we were American and spent the next five minutes trying to mime that s/he too was American, and specifically from Minnesota. Minnesota is really hard to mime. |

Eventually s/he resorted to just spelling it out in the air with s/his finger.
I'll tell you, we were eating late at night it seemed like quick food and it was only after we'd been seated that we learned it was a character dining experience. That's just one of the reasons we'll never be back there (the food was awful being the biggest one). |
