Knott's is selling those too, for this summer's Light thing in Camp Snoopy.

Bwahahaha, what took them so long this time.

Back when Disneyland was only thirty years old, my friend Bonnie worked for the company that made glow-sticks. We wore them all over ourselves into Disneyland, and even made chains of them that reached from our top-floor Sierra Tower room all they way to the ground outside the Disneyland Hotel.

The next summer, Disneyland was selling them - and they were the bane of dark rides for over a decade.

I hope the glasses work out better, but I note they're not marketing them for Space Mountain. When will they learn?

My Dad and his wife got married on the bridge over the koi fish pond back in (I think) 1985, shortly before I moved in with him to go back to school. We have many wedding photos from around the Water Falls

We already have plans that evening, but might be able to change them to attend. So, we're a maybe for now.

Well, if you're busy (and this goes for everyone), the party continues at the fabulous Wrather Suite on the actual birthday, the 17th (albeit a little more low-key) - from 1pm to 8pm (and then we head back into the Park) and - of course - the traditional After Party - from Park closing till dawn!!! (or as late as we can stay up) ... we do this every 5th year, but we are going to wring it out of the Wrather Suite like nobodies' business!
