A Grand Decision

You stand at a grand place, filled with paths to take you to your wildest dreams, or comforting lives, but beware, as many of these paths are filled with the tales of not only failure, but of success. A man overlooks his decision with a decision of his own. You see a small MAP lying on the ground. Obvious Exits are to the NORTH, EAST, SOUTH, and WEST.

Behind you, there is a world that is over, in the past. Filled with memories, and a time that will never see again, but you will cherish forever. Times of trips, mysterious things, but a guided time. A time where one does not make his or her own decisions, but yet refines his decision in the future. In this place, there are ways to get to places that are around you. These shortcuts are taken by many, but then the place loses it's purpose all together, and many people will want to return there, but can't.
>Look East
Here lies a place filled with an unknown destiny. A place that can be sprawling with the riches, and a place of wonder and excitement. However, it can be a place of no movement at all. You can meet new people, and discover a life that you've always wanted, but may have trouble getting in, as you must challenge yourself to create things, and a live a life you will not be a accustomed to. A place that can change depending on a single person, or idea. Many people attempt to use the latest means to get out of here, but find themselves just coming back to the lives they’ve always lived. If you enter here, beware.
>Look West
The path splits off into 2 places, but both are the same. They tell of a past, of a way that has been done for many years, and lead to even more classic places. However, this path can be futile, due to lack of change. Things remain the same, however most people's destiny here is never great, but never bad either. Many ride the various forms of transportation, just to look at a time that they could have lived in, but just find themselves in the same spot. Some may encourage you to go this way, because they rushed down what got you where you are today, due to people in their lives. If you enter here, beware.
>Look North
Here lies a place of the unimaginable, of a place that many do not go at all, due to the fact that this places does not really exist. Yet people blind themselves, trying to believe that it does exist, and find that they demand more and more. People come from all other paths, and climb great obstacles, and long winding roads, however, they find that it is not always what they want, although leaving this place is the easiest of them all.

You pick up a small, but colorful map.
>Use MAP
You glare over a map filed with all the different options, but many are vague, and offer promises of things that may not exist. It shows you the path, but not the correct way. You see where you are standing, on number 18, ready to move to a different place, and the decisions that lie ahead.

I actually thought of this the last time I was at DL. And how a trip through DL is like our lives. Each land represents a journey. Kind of a cool thought, I thought.

I've also got alot of life's choices stuff on DL, and a bit of Uru. I'll have to dig through my CDs and post some of it.
