I was tempted at times to seek photos from people for the party slideshow, as there were a few obvious holes and gaps in the coverage ... but the subtle background effect I was going for required that no one know in advance it was going to be a feature of the event.

It ended up being more of a magnet for people than the food table! (Though luckily the food was right there too.)

At one point I said something about how young we all looked, and a woman next to me said "yeah, my baby pictures are in there." I laughed then realized she wasn't exaggerating, as it was 's daughter!
