STS-133 Launch - Page 4

I've been trying to get a glimpse of the shuttle in orbit since the launch but the weather here has not been cooperating. Until today. Yea! I have a chance at 6:57pm to see both it and the International Space Station.

If any of you SoCal'ers would like to step out and have a look here are your chances:

SHUTTLE
Mon Mar 07/07:02 PM 2min duration 19 deg max elev 11 above NNW 19 above NNE
Tue Mar 08/07:26 PM 2min duration 45 deg max elev 11 above NW 45 above NNW
Wed Mar 09/06:13 PM 3min duration 19 deg max elev 15 above N 10 above E
Wed Mar 09/07:48 PM < 1min duration 21 deg max elev 19 above W 21 above WSW
Thu Mar 10/06:33 PM 5min duration 64 deg max elev 11 above NW 12 above SE

Boo ya!

That was too cool. I took Headliner and Moonie Jr. out to see the Shuttle and Station flyby. A great night for it! See it if you can!

Too much of a long-shot for me weekdays and Florida and New Mexico ain't gonna happen.

Moonie, I'm so glad you got to experience this!!!

I'm game for the landing - depending on what is happening in my life at the moment.

I was racking my braing trying to remember where that great view of Edwards AFB is. I KNOW I've been on a hill overlooking it. Now....where is that???
