If it is MMOPRPG I hope they handle the central problem better than Lord of the Rings and Star Trek did.

Namely that when dropped into a universe where the main characters are very well known, if you aren't playing one of those main characters you know you're just off on the fringe of things and not important to the universe.

With WoW, the mythology isn't well known so everybody can feel like they're in the middle of the story. If I'm not Harry Potter in the Potter universe then I'm not in the story.
