It looks like we will need to get a new vacuum, and it will more than likely be a Dyson Animal.

Any suggestions on where to get the best price? It looks like the ones on eBay are all refurbs (although I just made a quick cursory look).
Anyone readily know the differences in the different models (D23, D24, D25, D28, etc.)?
What is the difference between the "ball" and the "Animal"? It looks like the Animal has the same ball.

Again, I have only made a cursory look and will do some more detailed research later; I just wanted to throw some initial questions out there.
