				            | I hated Maurice Sendak.  Back when I was a library page in high school the worst assignment was reading the shelves in the children's section, which are always a mess and all the books are only a few milimeters thick. And parents were always hidingWhere the Wild Things Are so that they could fin it when their kid wanted it. This was very annoying. Personally, since my memory doesn't really kick in until age 11 or so, I don't have any memory of the phase in my life when I would have been reading his books. |
