The other day a friend met me at my place so we could go out and distract me. She had her bird with her. The cats - who I thought would go after it - were terrified of a REAL bird IN THE HOUSE!!!! Sputnik was the most curious, but then she did the bottlebrush tail and hid behind a cabinet to give us the single-eye surveillance. I have never actually seen a short-haired cat bottlebrush their tail like that - not in person.

A few years back a bird flew into our house. It darted into the family room, there as a flash of black from the direction of the sofa and snap, about 6ft in the air Mr. Bird met the circle of life.
