Miscellaneous Disney Stuff

This was posted to a cast recordings mailing list I subscribe to. I thought it might interest some-a-y'all.

The 1970 Disney animated film "the Aristocrats" is getting its blu-ray debut on August 21st. There are two new bonuses (in addition to the ones on the previous DVD releases) and one should be of interest to folks here.

It's a 9-minute piece called "The Lost Open" which has Richard Sherman introducing a two-part song that was to be the original opening for the film. It is called "How Much You Mean To Me/Court Me Slowly" and is sung by the butler Edgar and a deleted character (the maid). They found the original story boards and a demo recording by the Sherman brothers and melded the two together.

The previous DVD had a deleted song "She Never Felt Alone" and that seven-minute piece is here too.

The only other new feature is a "Oui Oui Marie" Music video remix.
