SoCal gets a Space Shuttle, and a parade!

From the roof of my office, I could see the people gathering at Universal Studios, on the Starway.


There it is!


I wept like a baby. The shuttle meant so much to me as a kid- I went to 2 launches and 15 landings, and a bunch of people in my family and neighborhood worked on the shuttle program. Somebody described yesterday as being like an "open casket wake".
