Disneyland photographing all guests

Not all guests, just multi-day ticket holders. But still, really?? Why bother with all of this for a handfull of multi-day tickets? I think it casts Disney in a bad light. They sell more tickets to those who could not afford to go otherwise, IMHO. I would never chance such a riskey buisness venture myself. I'd be worried that I'd spend all of that money, get my family to the gates, and have a big dissapointment.

Why does it cast Disney in a bad light when all they are doing is preventing people from committing fraud against them?

The article makes it seem like this is a recent implementation. I know there have been signs in front of DL and DCA for a few months directing multi-day pass holders to enter through specific gates. It sounds like they have been experimenting with this for a while.
