We thought there was going to be a long wait from how long the line looked, but it moved very quickly. What we assumed was going to take half an hour took 5 minutes.

It was so worth seeing. The collection is just amazing. This exhibition is the highlight of it, soon to be lost to time. I don't know which is "worse"; that this was all in private hands visible to a mere handful of people on earth, or that it's soon to be scattered to the winds and separated forever. The individual pieces, many of them, are treasures that will be loved by new owners - but the amazingness of this collection even somehow existing is soon to be gone forever.

I'm tempted to bid on a few of the items, but I know it will be a madhouse.
