I've loved her for years. Her second album, Pirates, is as near perfect a collection as I've every heard. I liked her first album even more after hearing her second.

Plus she gets huge snaps for living in Paris, getting fat and still being cool.

Actually, the first time I heard of her was in the Orb song "Little Fluffy Clouds". She doesn't even sing in it. She's talking.
