All of our cats do that- Tori calls it 'punching'. Btw, today is Samwise Crazypaw's second birthday! We got him a fish/bird on a line which he promptly shredded, and one of those claw boards laced with catnip. He's a happy boy.

Thanks, NA- he was one wiped out kitty. Slept all night, which is rare for him, and didn't attack our feet once!
