Well, I bet they didn't have a doctor. No doctor=lots of death. Lots of death=desparate survival mode. I suppose Rambolina just took initiative. I mean, the other choices for leader seem to be old Bernard, useless blonde chick, and tribal warrior dude. I guess she was bossiest, so she won.
