I may be naive and/ stupid, but I will never understand how " grooming kids and instill in them a strong racial identity." is all about hating those who are not of the same racial identity.

I mean, yeah, I'm white. I'm VERY white. I'm interested in my heritage and what it took for me to be born in CA. But, how is that so much more "important" than someone born in another country? My husband is 1st generation hailing from Germany and, most likely, has some Mongel blood in him. So, he's white, but is he really? Should I hate him? Be thankful to God that we didn't bring any half-breed kids into this world?

I don't understand racist thinking at all.

It seem the family "hopes that she and the girls can find an all-white community in the Pacific Northwest". Does such a thing exist? I know there are places in Idaho where white supremacy is more common, but an all-white community? How un-American! We're smarter than that, aren't we?

Alas, we're not. And sometimes history is so sobering. (I'm about to reference one of my classes again. Sorry. It's my life right now.) We read the Dred Scott decision last week -- all umpty-um pages of it. It almost makes one sick to one's stomach to read those words, preserved for all of history, declaring that a person is property and that the property owner's rights trump the individual's liberty rights. How is that kind of thinking even possible?

Forget the touchy-feely equality crap they feed kids in school. Have them read the real deal. Have them read the actual documents so they understand why it's a big deal.

Ish.

Imagine how the kids will feel if they grow up and discard their parents' views.

I found another link, which includes an interview with these girls. I felt dirty after reading it though. I can't think of anything much worse than teaching a child to hate and while I think that they have a right to promote their cause, I hope they fail miserably and someday there is no audience for this kind of hateful crap.

Reaver- my son would certainly find them physically attractive - I admit to guessing at the talent, I would not know, it just sounded snappy in the title.

But they're blond! Blond being the epitome of white purity. Whereas a brunette/redhead such as myself is obviously the racial version of a mudblood. White, but not really.
