Well, the thundering hordes have vacated the premises, and I am enjoying a brief respite before Turbo Wrapping Part Deux starts. I am also considering a shot of tequila- for medicinal purposes, of course. We had about twenty five family members over for dinner and gift exchanges, and now my house looks like a disaster area. It was fun, though. I made a spiral cut ham, rib roast and lots of assorted side dishes, and my nephew brought a smoked turkey. We have tons of leftovers, so that means no cooking tomorrow!!!!!

We had little of the usual family drama, which was nice. My mom was zonked on pills and spent the entire time passed out on the couch in the family room, so it's just like Christmas past! (She's a prescription pill addict from waaaaaay back). Aside from that, it was really a nice gathering, and the kids mostly behaved, except when Nick tried to choke Tori....... (He watches that WWF crap, and he was trying one of the wrestling moves on her. Suffice it to say he won't be doing that again).
