Aww! I love my LoT homies.

Thank you all so very, very much! Each and every one of your birthday wishes & posts made my birthday extra special! Your posts made my day and put such a smile on my face! I cannot thank you enough!

For those who couldn't post, I'll be pricking certain dolls in my LoT voodoo collection. In the most sensitive of areas.



I'M KIDDING!!! I love you all. You know that!

My birthday was rainy, stormy and a little sad. My neighbor & friend passed away New Year's morning after having what was supposed to be a simple and routine surgery. On my birthday, my Mom called me to wish me a Happy Birthday and also tell me my Grandma was in the hospital. I know people seem to think I'm the ultimate bad luck beacon, but I'm really far from it. Sometimes life is just, well, life. It seems to happen while we're making other plans.

Besides the sadness, my day actually turned out to be very pleasant! I woke up and snuggled in bed and watched the Rose Parade, and ate potato chips for breakfast because, well, it's my birthday. I shopped and went birthday wild buying DVD sets, lunched, and then had a nice quiet dinner with a dear friend and my Grandma at Wood Ranch.

The party continued last Saturday at Benihana's, and will continue this Saturday at The Saddleback Ranch.

That's the upside of a holiday weekend birthday. Celebrations get bumped and the party keeps gettin' started!

So, in retrospect? Another birthday, another year closer to the black abyss and the cold peace of the grave.
