Even though it's kind of a joke to talk about "bird flu" it's freaking me out a little. It's spreading fairly rapidly now among birds. Not good news as spreading means more potential for mutations that might result in an airborne-transmittable virus.

You can take some comfort in the fact that it only really takes off when it starts spreading human-to-human and when that happens the mortaility rate drops by over 95%.
