Because a girl only gets so many "yay me" threads before people start tossing around words like "egomaniacal", I'll put this here.

First, yesterday I got to take a break from leaving Old Job and pick out a chair and get a key to New Job. Yay! I only have 1 more week of Old Job and then I am FREE!!!!!!

Second, I just, mere moments ago, turned in the final draft of my Damn Article, as I like to call it. The project that has been looming over my head since August, when they called to say "hey, you're on Law Review - and by the way that means a hell of a lot of extra work." Done. Gone. Tonight I get to dump all my research and notes into a box and stow it away. I can have a small, tiny sliver of a life again.

Just a small sliver, but at this point I'm not picky.
