Ok, I skimmed this and read most of it. At the very least, everyone should read the first section. It states that the "We are Family" group that was putting out a video with cartoon characters, including Sponge Bob, had a pro-diversity/tolerance website that included a section that was about accepting homosexuality. The Christians don't like this.

Period.

If I were someone that thought that it was against God's will for people to accept gays, I wouldnt' want the most popular cartoon characters to support it. It makes sense from their point of view.

They're still homophobic assholes that are filled with hate and fear. But they're not idiots. They are correct - if Dora the Explorer and Clifford the Big Red Dog demonstrate tolerance, kids will be more tolerant.
