Based on a true story of a suburban housing develoment without facilities
for the huge population of teenagers living there. When the authorities
close down the only rec center, the kids take to the streets with disastrous
results...Matt Dillon’s first film is a moving and witty tale of youth
culture brought to the boiling point, and the triumph of spirit over callous
authority. This great relic of the 1970s features one of the most rocking
soundtracks of all times. Bring blankets, drinks and picnic dinner for this
