As to the Rapture, I'm sure that has been delayed. Something about Homeland Security wanting to check luggage and "sandals".

I live just a stones throw away from a Christian school. The place still has it's full compliment of screaming young'uns in the playground. Had there been no sound from there at all, it may have raised my eyebrow a bit. Now, if the Rapture had occurred, the first thing I would like to do is see how many of the T.V. evangelists got left behind! I'm sure good ol Oral Roberts would still be here. God didn't call him home the first time, and I'm sure he / she has a very good reason not to call him up the next time too!

I have no intention of seeing the current reincarnation of "The Omen". I saw "The Exorcists" remake, and was thoroughly disappointed. For the most part, I've never been a real big fan of the horror flick. So the whole "6/6/06" bit is nothing but a yawn for me.

My song for today is going to be "Just Another Day" by Boingo. It just seems SO right for today!
