Oddly, GD and I had a conversation about that strip the other day. I haven't read the strip in years but GD checks all the comics online. It sounded like we were talking about friends I'd lost touch with.

Me: "How's Michael doing?"
GD: "He's got two kids now. His wife has mellowed out which is nice."
Me: "Oh yeah, she was such a bitch at first."
GD: "I had forgotten that they had a bunny."
Me: "Oh yeah!"

We sat there nodding and talking about them...it was weird.
