Actually, although painting is annoying and messy, it's also kind of fun. After years of living under my parents' roof with their mandated room colors, and then years in rentals with institutional cream walls, it felt *SO* good to actually paint rooms different colors! Sure, the cats' bedroom is a weird green/yellow depending on the light. And the powder room is very, very pink. But I *LOVE* my yellow bedroom and the warmth of my butter-colored main floor. Painting the rooms really made the place feel like mine and erased any residual essence of the prior owner.

Yes, I'm a paint fanatic.

Which means I know who to go to for tips and advice! If you don't mind that is.
