What do you do for money, honey?

As an adult, the worst job I had was a brief stint at a nursing home. I had to do the bathing, and the old guys were completely perverted. I suppose I had my revenge, though, in that I always got to give them their last (and by last I mean posthumous) bath. I'd use the opportunity to tell them what I thought of them. Yes, I know my complaints were falling on deaf I mean dead ears, but that, in itself, was the revenge. I am going to hell.

When I was in kindergarten (true story, and I may have shared this before, perhaps leading to the whole appliance whore thing), there was a large stage like thing opn the playground that kids could crawl under and sit comfortably, but adults could not. A girl named DeeDee and I would charge kids there milk money to watch us kiss each other. Made about $6 over a couple weeks before we were caught. This was in the early 1970s, so that was a lot of money to a kindergartener.

I agreed to be David's (a schoolmate) girlfriend for a quarter. Hey, that was when a quarter could actually buy something!*




*Second grade, and it was one of my longer relationships- I think it lasted a full school day.
