Thank you all for being so supportive. I have been pretty down for the past couple of months. This whole thing has really been getting to me.

I am on my way to fill out papers and maybe a drug test. Nickolas reminded me that I told him if I got a job this week I would take him to Target to buy a special Yugioh pack.

Another weird work moment - a guest's cellphone started ringing, and it was a very unmistakable sound- "beep beep... blip blip blip blip vrooom" - it was a soundclip of a Rocket Rod!

It is with Walker Lewis Rents, through the temp agency. The woman I interviewed with yesterday was so impressed with me that I don't even have to do the 2nd interview with the owner! It is a temp-to-perm position, Monday thru Friday, 8:30-5:30 with rotating Saturdays.

Well, we got Susan sister married off last night (well, yesterday).

She did an excellent job of planning and things went off without a hitch. She looked stunning as did her matron of honor (not that I am biased on the latter

). The church was beautiful and I actually enjoyed sitting through an entire Catholic Mass wedding (also: we were concerned that Susan might burst into flames when the priest gave her a blessing at the altar, but I am happy to report that she made it throughunscathed).

The reception was beautiful and everyone had a great time. Susan's other sister caught the bouquet and and her boyfriend (fiance - we're not sure if the previous proposal is counted since Dad said no when fiance asked for permission) caught the garter. I don't think Dad was pleased about that.

Now, a day of recovery.
