This is an awesome story - Homecoming Princess turns tables on bullies. It's the "rival" high school in our area. Maddie told me about this a few weeks ago.

No really apparently a group of kids got together and nominated an autistic girl for Homecoming Princess. As a prank. Another Mom heard about it and put the word out on facebook and she won in a landslide.

What I've learned from driving around Maine for the last 5 days.

1) The locals apparently subsist on lobster and Dunkin' Donuts.
2) Sadly, the Maine accent is not so prevalent as would be hoped.

Oh, and you can't drive 60 feet without passing another collection of dead people. Maine is very proud of its dead people.
