lost a thumbnail here. it didnt do the 'degrade and come off thing' though.

RRRRRRrip! it was done. but yeah, it looked pretty funky for quite awhile. still never grew back quite right.

I lost my pinky toe nail on vacation. I was 7 or 8 and I smashed it on a rock in a lake. My wonderful mother saw nothing wrong with making me wear sneakers the entire trip either because she didn't want to pay for a pair of flip flops. she also didn't see anything wrong with only giving me a hand towel to dry off with because she didn't want to buy a beach towel and my dad talked her out of stealing one from the hotel Yes. I still remember it. That was a horrible vacation.

Smashed my fingers in doors more times than I can count. Damaged the nail bed on my thumb but never lost a finger nail.
