| Nevermind | Luckily I bought a new one on the way home from work last night, Pru. It did seem to help- she didn't have any more coughing attacks once she feel asleep. |

| I Floop the Pig | Ugh, I had one of those "can't breath" nights. Literally woke up unable to take a breath. 'twas bronchitis. And yes humidifier was a life-saver after that point.

You're not babbling, DP. It makes sense understanding that it's only been a recent experience for you. It takes a long time to learn, and fortunately/unfortunately, I've had a lot of experience with it. Who knows if it makes anything any easier. Maybe your mom wants you to go on with the party, because if it's going on still, it's something to motivate her. My grandma was in the hospital a couple of years ago, and it was going to be my cousin's 16th birthday party. The two of them are very, very close, perhaps closer than she is with her own mother, and this was all on the heels of very recently losing our grandfather on that side, so my cousin was erring toward just spending time with grandma and, you know, being distressed. Grandma insisted that the party should go on, and she explained that she wanted something to look forward to. I don't know if that's your mom's case, but it might be. In the meanwhile, I'll keep sending healing thoughts her way, and calming thoughts to you.

				            | Ok, so party is going forth as planned. Talked to my mom, and there are more complications, so she can't be here, but she flat out said, "Make it a good party. I want to see pictures, and I can't wait to get my favors." Morrigoon just called from the open road and suggested I get a large "Get Well" card for people to sign. I know she'd love it. I'm hanging in there, and trying to stay positive. Thanks for all the support and letting me rant. |
