				            | Congratulations! Is "we" Jetset or you and Tom? Either way, much applause.

				            | (The "we" who got the project is Jetset. Though the Powerswaterworks/Significant Chicken production companies are collaborating on something right now, too - but unfortunately, the Mouse isn't paying our way on that one, heh.) And, thank you all, for cheering us on! I'm still feeling excited this morning. (Not sure it will go away.) Last edited by LSPoorEeyorick : 01-29-2008 at 11:10 AM. |

				            | LSPE, I'm still dying to know the backstory on the "Significant Chicken" thing. It's such a cute production name. UPDATE ON MOM: The good news: The biopsy of the blockage came back benign. Turns out to be a completely pinched intestine due to fat compression from obesity, lack of activity, and bad eating habits/diet. The not-so-good news: There are some shadows near the original cancer site that still concerns the doctor, so once the blockage is removed, they'll have to scope again and run another biopsy from that area. So, we're not out of the woods just yet, but the doctor has finally shut up about timeframes. However, my dad just told me that my mother has not gone to a single post-cancer check-up. In the meantime, they're attempting to reopen the blockage by feeding her some small amounts of food. Anyone got a ham I can borrow? |

| Nevermind | Hey, we just had ham last night! DP, I'm glad they found it was benign, and hopefully this will encourage your mom to be more vigilant about her health. Fingers and toesies crossed for the other tests! |

| Nueve | Yikes, DP! I hope your mom bucks up and starts getting this kind of thing checked... fear be damned!

| HI! | You know, I understand the fear factor but she needs to go to her check ups. The little victories that come with each visit - hearing the words "no sign of cancer, see you in another year" make the fear seem like nothing. AND, it holds a lot of weight for the coming year. |
