You're another one, Mizz Lizzi, that's I've known forever. Let's see. I think I first remember you getting mad at me because I was flirting with your BF. Who was that again? Oh! BR! That was probably '83.

I knew BR before that. Probably '81. Music Market Days.

Oh! For BR, I ran into Brian last night too.

Sheesh.

Just as well. Poetry was never my bag.
No! It was more than poetry. There was TONS of music. The Ringling Sisters, Beck, Killer Wail, Phranc, Anna Homler. Good stuff.

6th & La Brea? Late 80s Early 90s - Could that have been the Sunland era? I recall not seeing you much till you started working in Irvine and ghost tours were embarced on.

Well, when was MM? Ask Brian. He's got a mind like a steel trap.

MM was first. You as a kilt-wearing punk at Jubilee was second. A Din/St. Vitus Dance gig was the third.

But, Chris.....he just brought up The Discarded.

And, not only do I not have the same hair cut, I don't even have the same hair color.

Hee! I didn't step out on BR. And everyone flirted with that cutie!! Not that I blame them...

I went there, um, after him. With my Patsy.

I still have the same hair. But now I have a kid who says I look like Hermione. I think that's a compliment.

The PMU was such a fun place...

Awww. Thanks Lizzie. You were only the coolest arty chick ever. FYI: you're still the coolest, but you probably already know that.

Hermione rules. Definitely a compliment.

For what it's worth, I still get Ozzy comparisons, which is a sobering thought.

My daughter insists I look like Yogi Bear, which I find strangely comforting, and quite accurate.

Oh, that is just waaaay cute. Plus, I love reading you write "my daughter."

I love Hermione; she's the best character in those books (well, I identify with her the most). But knowing that her hair is described unflatteringly...oh well. That particular shoe does fit, as I've stopped coloring it and cutting it and, um, combing it as well! I just got tired of trying to be stylish.

Just call me wild thing from here on out!!

Edit: my goodness: Music Market. I'd forgotten about that. They have/had many of my records I sold when I was short on rent money. And Din/SVD??? I remember so many parties from back then...Yikes! NA, did we once have a tete a tete in someone's parent's room then? Oh, my the memory does go.
