OMG, the silent film fest was F-U-N this year. Met so many fun people, saw some really terrific movies (and, yes, the Carl Dreyer was, as I expected, beautifully photographed and dull, dull, dull, slow, slow, slow). A great weekend and I am bone tired!

I know it will likely be ok- but wow, inside I am all jello.

Life will turn out the way it's supposed to; or at least that's what I try and tell myself when I feel all helpless and, as you put it, jello-like.

I do know there are a lot of great opportunities stemming from the military - it's all in what choices are made along the way. For my boyfriend, it's given him a rewarding, well-paying career as a contractor for the Air Force.

Make sure, if he does decide to join up, to get some skills out of it. It PAYS.

I thought they required at least that? I have a nephew who is trying to get into the Army right now. He's had some issues in the past and is having to jump through hoops. For him, at least we hope, it will be a positive change.

I know the worry and wondering is very stressful, I hope you have answers soon to whatever he works out.
