I still say that "boobs" or "boobies" makes the breasts, and the woman sporting them, sound airheaded and infantile.

Among women I've had the issue of word selection up with boobs has generally been much preferred to tits.
I agree that boobies sounds infantile but I really only use the word ironically or when being silly (and I think the infantilization is more of the person saying the word than the person the word is said of). Lani and I have a code phrase used for indicating noteworthy breasts are in the area. But I can't share what it is since then it would no longer be a code. |
