Well, it's more accurately described as a drivable, street legal, airplane. And you do still need a pilot's license and an airport to take off from and land at. But if I were someone who regularly took, say, business trips to the bay area or Vegas, I might consider the ~$210K it would cost to get a pilot's license and buy the thing as a good use of my money. Way better than flying commercially, or having to pay to hanger an airplane + have a car.
