I say real because I've personally seen worse. I used to work for a software company. One day, one of our salesmen brought in his home computer for us to look at. The salesman was a VERY heavy smoker and when the poor tech opened the case up, there was a half inch layer of dark orange fuzz covering everything inside. It was so vile the tech had to bring the computer outside to clean it.

Yeah, I think I've seen at least that bad in my own computers.
The once sitting next to me has essentially been on 24/7 for three years and I've never opened it up. That is a lot of air sucked through it. I do know that I've found the the outside of the vents almost completely blocked by cat hair. |
