Nickolas and I just got home from a tour of http://www.indianpointranch.com/index.html . It was the same one that was used in an episode of Fear Factor.
I have decided that I must not speed, I must set the cruise control to stop myself from speeding, both to and from Tehachapi. I am tired of panicking every time I pass a CHP sitting on the side of the road and watching him pull in behind me. On the way up, it wasn't too bad. I saw him and was able to adjust my speed. He was in the center divider. On the way home he was sitting on the side, with an overpass embankment hiding him. I pulled off the freeway (I think I was doing 85ish when I passed him) and he pulled off the freeway too. Luckily, when I turned onto a frontage type road, he kept going. *whew* |

I know that the cops near and in Tehachapi are pretty harsh. I see them pulling people over all the time. We've been followed a couple of times only to have the cop pull off after five minutes or so.

Lychee at Pike Place Market! I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier! Also got rainier cherries, corn, apple compote, and lamb sausage.
Did not get the Fluevog's I had been eyeing as the salesdude said there's a closed-toe version coming in fall and I'd wear that more often. Also told me there's a new heel coming out! "Teapot" heel. Should be out any moment!
