I'm sure my number are off but you'll get the idea:
200 Riders/Hour * 14hr/day * 20 Years = 20,440,000 riders 1/20,440,000 = 0.00000004 % of riders get hurt. Damn that sloppy safety record Disney has.

I wasn't clear. I was aghast over the implication the news was making that "they couldn't find any information on the park map regarding the moving sidewalk" as if that would've made a difference.

Heheh, they may have decided the attraction was too risky for them.
Why do you think they call it call it Snow White's Scary Adventures, for example, if not to warn off the frail and tender? Actually, the former attraction title was even more useful for this purpose ... when it was called, and I kid you not, "Snow White's Adventures (Scary)" |
