				            | I think E needs to break those down a bit between what's an obvious costume and what he wore in all, for want of a better word, seriousness. As for me, I don't think I bought into any horrible fashion trends as an adult. As a child of the '70s, however, in terms of fabrics, colors and patterns, I generally went around looking like a professional bowler. For some reason, hot pants were in style for little boys and, in lieu of a tie, I had at least one class portrait taken wearing a Charles Nelson Reilly neckerchief. Hair is arguably another matter. Until about my sophomore year of college, I had hair that was a cross between Greg Brady and Bernie in Room 222.

				            | And isn't everything anyone says and does really just part of a character they're playing?

				            | I've blocked out so many of those memories, it takes some reminders to bring it back. I'm going to have nightmares now. I remember the jelly shoes and the banana clips. Never did the t-shirt clip thing though.
