I can't drink Jamba juice anymore. It was almost all I ate for about a year.

The malls around here used to have them, until they tore out all of the little stores and replaced them with the stupid food courts.

Hell, I find just plain JUICE to be waaaay too sweet for me. I thin it out, 1:3 water:juice. Better for calories, too.

Mmm...Fake Orange Julius:

1C orange juice
1C milk
1C granulated sugar
plenty of ice
raw egg optional

Blend until proper Orange Julius texture. Hope you don't die of sugar shock. Serves 1-2.

(Maybe that was 1/3 C sugar. I haven't made one in over a decade.)

I do the same.

I've learned that the older I get the less I can tolerate sweet stuff. Not saying that LSPE is old...

Even better is one I have made since High School:

2-3 cups pineapple-orange juice
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
13-15 ice cubes

Blend until smooth

add a healthy dose of light rum
add a shot of dark rum

blend some more

enjoy and stay home upon drinking
